Not too classical, not too commercial. It sounds nice and brilliant without being shrill or dark. It plays very well in tune, and responds quickly to musical nuance. If you're into that black color - Phaeton calls it "black chrome onyx," but it's likely either black nickel plating or a metallic black pigmented lacquer - this is a great bang for your buck.
