The Ellie Claire is one of the proprietary violas crafted by the Paul A Schmitt Violin Shop. It is characterized by its rich brownish-golden spirit varnish, which gives it a pure and elegant look. It features a fully hand-carved spruce top and well-flamed maple made from the finest tonewoods available. The viola is modeled after Guarneri pattern and has ebony fittings.
