B. Corbin Bass Clarinet Mouthpiece - Marbled Kilauea
The B. Corbin Marbled Bass Clarinet Mouthpiece provides a unique balance of tonal flexibility, large dynamic range, and considerable core to the sound. Each mouthpiece is CNC-milled from solid German rod rubber and extensively hand-finished for a refined look, feel, and sound.
The O rings provide a perfect seal and a longer lasting, cheaper alternative to cork. Grease is still recommended for use with the O rings.
*Note that the marbled mouthpieces are made from the same German rod rubber but with added coloring for a beautiful appearance. The marbled pieces are slightly harder than the standard black hard rubber, and there is a somewhat different "ring" to the sound.
